Private Public (2009)

A meditation on the darker undertones of the Internet, the Private Public installation
invited users to enter their name into a console and then step into a enclosed room.
There, they were met with a progressively intense visual stream of publicly accessible
snippets of their online activities and identities (culled in real-time from social
networking sites and search engines).
‘Private Public’ was exhibited at the Subtle Technologies Festival (Toronto) in 2009.
Project Role:
Concept development, interaction design, Processing/Python programming.
