Collaborative Poem (2007)
A public installation that invites passerby to choreograph or contribute to a collaborative poem via their mobile phones, which grows & accumulates over time as more users leave their traces on it. An interface on the mobile phone enables users to add or rearrange words in the poem, the results of which are then sent by Bluetooth to a large speaker-equipped display screen, which visualizes and reads the new incarnation of the poem. Concept by Geoffrey Shea (OCAD researcher) and Ken Leung; designed and programmed by Ken Leung for the Nokia platform.
